Artisan-Made, Culturally Rooted

Our slippers are handcrafted in Nepal and Peru using traditional techniques and locally sourced materials. Each pair of slippers reflects centuries of cultural heritage, supporting artisan livelihoods and preserving their craft. Our slippers fuse barefoot-inspired comfort with natural textures- they are designed for recovery, grounding, and everyday wear, while honouring ancestral patterns and storytelling.

At Casa Artisans, every step tells a story. Each piece begins in the Himalayas, Andes or the Amazon, shaped from hand-selected wool, luxurious alpaca skin, continuing to source more responsibly sourced materials.

A perfect fit for your every day life

Natural materials. Naturally sustainable. Naturally barefoot.

Casa Artisans starts with artisanal craftsmanship to create footwear that supports natural foot movement and adapts comfortably to each wearer through the use of natural, high-quality material. As we thoughtfully source natural materials, we partner with communities that uphold fair trade principles, supporting sustainable farming, empowering local families, and preserving generations of artisanal heritage. Every step helps protect the traditions that shape our craft. We will strive to embed transparency, traceability, and community collaboration, connecting wearers directly to the makers and the stories behind their footwear. Main Materials:
  • Wool Sourced from New Zealand and handcrafted in Nepal, our wool is soft, lightweight, and breathable. It offers excellent odor resistance, natural temperature regulation, durability, and self-cleaning properties—making it comfortable and long-lasting for everyday wear.
  • Alpaca Skin From alpacas that have died of natural causes, our alpaca skin provides exceptional softness and durability. It naturally regulates temperature, keeping feet warm in cold weather and cool in warmer conditions. Hypoallergenic, lightweight, and highly breathable, it ensures superior comfort and longevity.
  • Future potential innovations include Organic cotton from Peru and Grape leather from Caxacori in Peru.
